At Kolkata Stitch Studio, formalwear alterations begin with an inspection of the fabric, construction, and seam allowances. That review helps shape a practical alteration plan before any work is approved, so the result reflects both the garment and the requested fit.

Our work includes suit-jacket fit adjustment, formal-trouser alterations, shirt and blouse refitting, coat and blazer sleeve adjustment, and formalwear fitting packages. Where possible, original design details are preserved, and thread or trim matching is checked against available materials.

The fitting process is structured and straightforward: appointment request, garment review, first fitting, alteration plan and quote, approved tailoring, final fitting, and collection with care notes. Depending on the garment and fitting scope, projects typically include one to two appointments and a turnaround of seven to fourteen business days.
